Announcement

Skaters qualifying for Sectionals will received Sectional Announcement packets from the registration desk at regionals. Please read the Announcement and accompanying forms very carefully and be sure to comply with the following deadlines.

The Credentials form, photos, practice ice forms and Athlete certification form must be postmarked not later than the Tuesday following the conclusion of applicable Regional Championships. DO NOT use any form of mail or delivery service that would require a signature for delivery. Such requirement will cause significant delays in delivery.
The deadline for the Advance Ticket Order Form and Program Advertising Form is November 1, 2007.

Registration Desk

A registration desk will be open at the San Diego Ice Arena from Tuesday, Nov 13 through Saturday, November 17, 2007 during all practice and competition hours. Competitors must check in at the registration desk to receive their credentials.

Official Notices

Official bulletin boards will be maintained at both the San Diego Ice Arena and the Official Hotels. Postings on the official bulletin boards will constitute official notice to all competitors and coaches of schedule changes or rule clarifications and other competition information. It is the skater’s responsibility to check the bulletin board for event or schedule changes. No event will begin prior to the posted start time; however, skaters should be at the arena and checked in 45 minutes prior to their event.

Security

Entrance to the competition arena is by credential or ticket only.

Each competitor will receive a credential, and may receive one chaperone credential and one coach credential free of charge. Chaperone credentials do not have access to skating locker rooms. Coach credentials allow access to all venue areas. Coaches must be current members of USFSA and PSA to receive credentials. Coaches and Chaperones will need to show a photo ID to receive credentials.

Additional Chaperone Credentials: Each competitor may purchase one additional chaperone credential for $40.

Additional Coach Credentials: Each single competitor may designate a maximum of two coaches for credentialing. Each dance and pair team may designate a maximum of three coaches for credentialing. The additional coach credentials are $40 each.

Changes: Changes to chaperone and/or coach designations may be made at the registration desk. Competitors will be limited to one chaperone and one coach designation change. Only a skater who is not a minor, or a parent or a legal guardian of a minor skater may designate or change an official chaperone or coach.

Replacement: Lost credential will be charged $10 for replacement.

Tickets

All event passes are available as pre-orders only. Single day tickets may be pre-ordered at a discount, or purchased at the box office. Lost tickets will not be replaced. To order tickets, please fill out and return the ticket pre-order form.

Withdrawals

Official Program

All qualifying skaters, whether advancing through a bye or advancement from the regional championships, are required to provide two 5"×7" head/shoulder photos labeled with the name of the competitor(s), home club, event level and coach. Photos must be provided on electronic media. Printed photos will not be accepted.

Awards

Medals will be awarded for first through fourth place, and trophies will be awarded to the first place winner. Results are not official until posted. All awards will be presented off ice at the designated awards area. The schedule for the awards presentation will be posted on the Official Bulletin Board.
